Bodyline Auto Recyclers is a state-of-the-art auto recycling facility located in Hamilton, Ontario.
We take end-of-life vehicles and disassemble them using environmentally safe methods (learn more below). Our trained personnel then clean, inspect and test all re-usable parts to make sure they meet manufacturer’s standards. The parts are then entered in to our computerized inventory system for easy searching.

Our Auto Recyclers takes pride and responsibility in processing end-of-life vehicles in an environmentally conscientious approach. Bodyline is affiliated with a network of recycling programs such as, The Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association, Car Heaven, Summerhill Impact, Retire your Ride, Switch Out, and Triple M Metal. An old Vehicle produces more green house gasses towards the environment than that of a newer one. Bodyline purchases these automobiles along with those that have been in accidents and dismantles them. Our parts are tested by professionals and then resold at a fraction of a new cost. By doing so, our facility is eliminating the need to manufacture new parts, thus reducing the energy required as well as cleaning up our society’s old vehicles. This is an insight to the procedures down at Bodyline Auto Recyclers, however there is a great deal more that we do to support environmentally friendly methods; Along with vehicles parts, Bodyline also Recycle’s automobile fluids, tires and metal.
Vehicles require many fluids to run properly, but what happens to these fluids once the vehicle is recycled? They get recycled too! Bodyline’s gasoline and windshield washer fluid gets siphoned from the vehicle and reused in our company trucks. Antifreeze and oil are sent to companies which recycle further and redistribute them to be reused. Our batteries are collected and a company removes the acid and separates the lead to be further recycled. Mercury found in end-of-life vehicles is recovered by the switch out program also. So as you can see, each fluid is disposed of carefully.
As fluids need to be recycled, tires and metal do too. The process is not as complex however it’s a very important step. The rubber from worn tires are collected by Ontario Tire Stewardship and further recycled. The metal from the rims are sent to be melted down and reused. Any aluminum, cast steel, steel, and precious metals are sent to companies to be melted down and further recycled to be reused.
On the whole, one can see the environmentally friendly approach that is taken in the redistribution of automobile parts and the process required to sufficiently recycle the vehicles fluids, tires and metal. |
